Puppet Shows & Workshops for Schools (Ages 3–7)
I bring handmade puppet theatre directly into your school — creating imaginative, engaging experiences designed especially for children aged 3–7.
My shows are playful, visual and gently interactive. Children meet memorable characters, follow clear story journeys, and are invited to join in through rhythm, repetition and response. The atmosphere is warm and inclusive, allowing confident children and quieter observers alike to feel part of the experience.
The work supports early literacy, expressive arts and understanding of the world around us. Themes can link to:
Seasons and changes in nature
Journeys, habitats and caring for our environment
Friendship, feelings and cooperation
Simple science explorations such as light and colour (using prisms and rainbows)
Life cycles, including frogs and butterflies
Through story and guided play, children observe change, ask questions, notice patterns and build vocabulary. Workshops encourage creativity, problem-solving and collaboration, while giving children space to respond in their own way.
Whether you’re planning a topic-linked learning block, a creative enrichment day or an end-of-term celebration, I create small moments of theatre that deepen curiosity, confidence and imagination.
My sensory, art-based play sessions are designed especially for the very young. Children explore different materials — paper, water, fabrics, bubbles, textures, colour, and light, explore mark-making, ripping and crunching paper, layering, and simple sound-making. These sessions are tactile, exploratory, and responsive, allowing children to discover through doing.
(Please note there is an additional cost beyond the fee to cover materials, and it will be worked out per child)
My lively nursery fun rhyme and song session. These are playful, high-energy moments where children are invited to move, sing, and join in using ribbons, simple percussion instruments, and rhythm games. The focus is on shared joy, coordination, listening, and confidence through music and movement.
I provide ribbons, a parachute, percussion instruments, lit-up sensory play items, colourful scarves, bungies, etc. In addition, I can add bubbles and sparkly lights. Music is provided through Qlab
