This is an exciting partnership Between Lisa Nicoll Productions and Perth Theatre - whose aim is Keep Actors, Writers, Directors & Producers across Scotland Match Fit, Motivated, Inspired & Connected. I have been a member since its start in 2024!

I have been a trustee of the wonderful Actors’ Children’s Trust‍ ‍(ACT) charity for several years, and I will always be a supporter, even though my time as a trustee is coming to an end.

ACT supports the children of actors, so please have a look at their website - https://actorschildren.org

This wonderful charity is committed to reducing the risk of family crises by providing resources, support and financial stability to the children of actors and actors with children. They aim to ensure no actor has to choose between their career and their family’s well-being. By supporting actor-parents, the charity aims to foster a more representative and authentic dramatic arts community—one that truly reflects the diversity of society and aims to ensure no actor has to choose between their career and their family’s wellbeing.

Through financial assistance, tailored family support, and advocacy, they work to break down barriers, so that both the children of actors and actors with children can thrive—personally, professionally, and creatively.

They are supporting many families in Scotland, including childcare. My own kids would not be able to do what they do now without the support of ACT.
